Homeowners policies typically come in two sections. These two sections are property coverage and personal liability. Within the property coverage area of homeowners insurance has four sections that give the owner coverage of their home’s structure, additional structures on the premises, personal property inside the home, and loss of use. Personal liability which provides coverage if there are any accidents or damage to the property.
