“Changing homeowners insurance after being with the same company for 17 years can be frightening. Harris Insurance was wonderful, attentive to our concerns, and got us better coverage for less money! We should have made the switch years sooner!”

Pace, FL
Pace is an ever evolving suburb just north of the more metro Pensacola area. Pace was officially established in 1907, after the Pace Mill was opened by James C. Pace. Over the course of its 22 years of operation, the Pace Mill evolved from solely producing lumber to the manufacturing of pulp and paper, being a major economic contributor to not only Pace but the larger towns surrounding it.
In more recent years, the area has subtly developed to include multiple big name retailers and restaurants. These new establishments have not only eliminated the need for residence to travel for essentials, but has also given the local community opportunities for employment without the once required commute. This growth has also encouraged the establishment of quiet, low-key residential neighborhoods secluded from the busy city just slightly south.
Pace can truly be appreciated for its comparatively small but high-performing schools, reasonable cost of living, and rapidly growing real-estate market. With NAS Pensacola and NAS Whiting Field located on either side, Pace is just one of the cities that make up the “Cradle of Naval Aviation.” The strong local military presence has also contributed greatly to the increased settlement and development of this peaceful little town.
